Please join the party! Got your refreshments? Good! Not too many people here to meet yet, but let me introduce you around a little before you settle in.
First of all, meet my beloved Ronald:

If you visit his site, you'll see he's truly one of a kind. There are times when I would gladly trade him for, oh, maybe a bucket of sand, but I really do love him, despite rumors to the contrary from time to time. He's been my partner for 13 years and my husband for 10, which goes to show you that both of us are idealistic and stubborn.
Here's Ron's sister Pam and her husband Adam, Ron's mom, and Ron and his dad looking spiffy for Pam's wedding:

This is my utterly excellent friend Mary:

Mary is, among other things, the queen of floaty pens and tie-dye, and the go-to gal if you happen to want to learn Chinese medicine in Seattle. She is so great - smart, classy, and cool, as well as being such a total babe!
Here are three more friends at a recent party of mine, Martha, Tony, and Paul:

Both Mary and Martha have been involved with me in SeaFATtle, a local size-acceptance group. Tony is fortunate enough to be married to Mary, and is mighty cool in his own right. Paul is one of the most intelligent, charming, quick-witted, and funny people I know; he used to work with my sister Meredith at the Museum of Flight in Seattle.
Neither of my younger sisters has a website right now, but this is the middle sister, Melinda, and her husband Keith:
Keith runs a rather groovy coffee shop called Magic Beans, and roasts the world's most wonderful coffee there.
Someday soon I'll also add pictures of my youngest sister, Meredith, and her husband Bob, and probably a few more people as well.
