I've been meaning to write this page forever, but I can never think of anything profound to say that hasn't been said, or doesn't seem cement-headedly obvious.
I am a woman. I am happy to be a woman. That wasn't really true for many years. Fat girls aren't ever treated like real females; they're assumed to be sexless -- great buddies, but you wouldn't date one. With my awareness of femaleness denied at every turn, I tried not to care about it, and I blocked off huge parts of myself. As I have gotten older, and become more comfortable with myself as a fat woman, a witch, and a bisexual woman, I find I like my womanhood more.
Of course I am a feminist. I am against prejudice, and for equal opportunities for all people. Body configuration has nothing to do with much of anything.
